Zero Waste
Every harvest follows a sequence. Donate By comes before Sell By. Freeze-dry and shelf-stable preservation extend what remains.
Zero Waste is the preservation and reuse lane inside Harvest Moon Collective. It protects the value of a harvest after the community window and the fresh-sale window have passed.
Harvested On. Donate By. Sell By. Freeze-Dry By. Use By. The point is not to find excuses for waste after the fact. The point is to design the sequence so the best food reaches people first and the remaining value is preserved instead of discarded.
The documented preservation direction is already clear: freeze-drying, dehydrating, mushroom jerky, powders, and shelf-stable pantry products that extend the useful life of a harvest without losing the mission behind it.
The story here is simple. We grow things people need, and nothing gets wasted if there is still value left to preserve. This page is where Kelly can review that logic in public-facing language now, before the kitchen and final product formats are visually designed.
